Apple Mac Can be hacked thunderbolt Port
hacked mac thunderbolt Port
If the MAC name associates it as a security symbol, let me tell you that you may be in error. The most recent vulnerability was discovered by a security expert of Swedish nationality. His name is Ulf Frisk (via Softpedia) showing how within the blink of an eye can hack a Mac computer, to get the password of the victim through a device with a value of USD $300 Connecting it to the Thunderbolt Port.
Taking advantage of a vulnerability in FileVault2, which is responsible for disk encryption, with Direct Memory Access (DMA). Any device that connects to the Thunderbolt port can read and write to memory. This is because the password is stored in plain text and expands into memory after forcing to the Mac to restart, the device gets the passwords before it is overwritten
Unfortunately those seeking to take advantage of the vulnerability of the system Apple has released an update on MacOS 10.12.2. We recommend that all users apply the update on their computers.
